I was always the woman in the chair. From my first paycheck, I loved going to the salon—not just for the cut and color, but for the entire experience and the confidence I carried home with me.

It wasn't just the salon experience in the chair. It was the experience every day in between the salon visits. That feeling is still a huge part of how I think about hair today.

As a Pasadena hair colorist, I'm passionate about dimensional, natural-looking color, beautifully blended highlights, and healthy hair that grows out softly. I believe great color should enhance who you are, fit your lifestyle, and make you feel like yourself—but better.

My job is not to push hair as far as it can go. My job is to find the place where beautiful color and healthy hair meet.

Over the years, I've seen this industry from almost every side. I've worked as a salon receptionist, an assistant, a commission stylist, a booth renter, a colorist, and a national educator for Kérastase, Schwarzkopf, Bumble and bumble, and J Beverly Hills. Each experience has shaped the hairdresser I am today and taught me the importance of expertise, sharing knowledge, and always being willing to learn.

Why BSABI?

More than 15 years ago, while renting a small room and dreaming of creating something of my own, I bought the domain BSABI.com.

Th name combines two nicknames: B, from my childhood, and Sabi, from my early days as a salon assistant. In many ways, BSABI represents the little girl with dreams and the young assistant with dreams becoming the woman I am today.

BSABI is more than a name—it's the woman I've grown into.

BSABI stands for Beauty sees as beauty is. To me, beauty isn't about becoming someone else. It's about seeing what's already beautiful in yourself and finding ways to bring it forward. That's how I approach hair and how I want every woman to feel when she leaves my chair.

When you sit in my chair, I want you to feel relaxed, understood, and confident that you're in good hands. I want you to leave feeling beautiful, modern, and completely yourself.
